Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for partnering with key stakeholders such as human resources, sales, information technology or finance to ensure a smooth transition with acquisition companies folding into the National General family of companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in large scale companywide corporate projects and initiatives
  • Lead engagements and work streams related to the effective integration of acquisition with the shared services departments
  • Manage cross-functional project teams to ensure timelines are met during and post-acquisition
  • Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators and prepare and deliver reports to stakeholders
  • Convey key information, including the business case, synergies, benefits and risks, for purposes of decision making during M&A process
  • Meet with leaders throughout the organization to understand needs, and determine actionable steps to reach a resolution
  • Create, communicate, and audit various organizational initiatives and rely progress back to key stakeholders in the business
  • Regularly communicate information to the appropriate stakeholders

  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Critical thinking skills in problem solving and decision-making
  • Asks questions and seeks assistance
  • Takes responsibility to eliminate the source of problems
  • Confidentiality regarding information pertaining to all tenants and employees
  • Maintain proper appearance and personal conduct for the employee's particular job
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must be able and willing to travel 10+ % of the time
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
