REMOTE Facilities Coordinator in Work From Home at National General Insurance

Job Description

Job Summary:

The individual will coordinate facility work orders, handle building and equipment emergencies, and ensure work is completed in a timely manner. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives and responds to all service requests 
  • Documents and tracks issues, contacts appropriate service providers and provides follow-up as needed through issue resolution with both internal and external parties
  • Handles administrative and clerical duties such as processing invoices, document scanning, writing general communications and any needed reports
  • Conducts and schedules all required back flow and fire safety inspections
  • Schedules and follows-up on any security system repairs or issues
  • Addresses any after hour emergencies
  • Inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains physical facilities requiring skilled mechanical and trade work
  • Coordinates any repairs to filtered water systems, resolution of vending machine issues, and furniture installations, repairs or reconfigurations
  • Works with outside contractors and vendors following all building procedures and reporting procedures
  • Ensures all stores are compliant with fire safety regulations, including annual inspections of emergency lights, fire extinguishers and exit lights
  • Provides documentation for store complaints that are received from OSHA or the Department of Labor

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

  • None

Functional Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must have experience managing vendors
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking skills in problem solving and decision-making
  • Confidentiality regarding information pertaining to all tenants and employees
