Primary Purpose:

Complete discovery and manage all transformation projects to expand 3rd party offshore footprint. Operation focuses on expense rationalization to increase price competitiveness for National Generals organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of business transformation for vendor expansion to offshore
  • Provide subject matter expertise and consulting in key transformation disciplines (project management, business process, training and development, and communications) 
  • Collaborates with internal/external clients and colleagues to complete Discovery, Solution Design and Transformation activities that support the organizations long-term strategies
  • Support the design and development of project business cases to ensure expected results are achieved
  • Partner with business unit leaders to identify potential growth areas for vendor expansion
  • Schedule or coordinate daily/weekly/month project update calls with internal NGLS teams and vendor partners; including ad hoc calls determined by process need
  • Track and effectively communicate project progress to all internal/external clients
  • Ensure projects remain on budget and all project milestones are achieved

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 5+ years of management experience in Operations and/or Project Management
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Prior Project Management experience preferred
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Broad knowledge of Insurance operations with practical experience in key operational areas
  • Prior interactions with offshore teams or onshore vendors
  • Must be able and willing to travel 50+ % of the time, including international trips
  • Ability to lead discussions build rapport with varying levels of the organization from entry level associates to VP level
