Primary Purpose:

Manage Transparent.ly’s existing relationships in the mortgage and insurance verticals. Transparent.ly is a real-time click bidding platform that allows advertisers to precisely bid for consumers with our ad technology. The platform allows our website and digital publishing partners to monetize consumer traffic in insurance, mortgage and higher education by showing highly relevant ads to consumers deep in the purchase funnel.  The Account Manager will manage client campaigns, regularly meet with clients and be the primary liaison between Transparent.ly and the advertiser.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be primary day to day contact for insurance carrier advertisers
  • Develop strong relationships with clients including occasional travel to visit them across the United States
  • Maintain understanding of clients’ key performance goals, process and idiosyncrasies
  • Prepare for and professionally communicate within periodic business reviews with senior client management
  • Analyze and optimize clients’ marketing campaigns on the transparent.ly platform
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction to increase revenue
  • Upsell additional products to advertisers where appropriate
  • Attend tradeshows and maintain understanding of competitive environment

  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 1-3 years of client relationship experience
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of developing strong relationships with clients
  • Analytical and comfortable performing self-directed analysis
  • Skilled at Excel to analyze data, develop insights and Power Point to present internally and externally
  • Proven ability to organize work and prioritize multiple projects at any one time with little direction
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skill
  • Maintain calm under pressure and have intuitive sense of what to say / not to say when engaging with clients
  • Strong sense of commitment to make sure clients are getting what they need to be successful
  • Driven and passionate team player with a Can-do attitude

Desired Skills:

  • Experienced working with marketing or advertising platforms
  • Experience marketing in the insurance industry highly preferred
  • Thorough understanding of online marketing and economics concepts such as leads, CPC, CTR, customer acquisition, lifetime value and gross profit
