Job Description

Primary Purpose:

The Treasury manager is responsible for the day to day activity of the Treasury Department.  The Treasury Manager will train, mentor and coach the Treasury Staff to bring the best value to the department.  The Treasury Manager will ensure all cash related activity is accurately posted to the General Ledger system as well as oversee the payment cycle as it relates to the Treasury Department.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Oversee the day to day activity of the department to ensure office deposits are reconciled timely
  • Initiate, Approve, Release wire transfers and ACH payments prepared by Treasury
  • Ensure all cash related items are reviewed and reconciled on a daily basis
  • Work on special projects to generate efficiencies and streamline processes
  • Supports staff with Training, coaching and mentoring
  • Oversee administration of various bank websites and Treasury systems
  • Oversee month end process to meet deadlines
  • Review month end reconciliations and assist with preparation
  • Participate in banking and vendor relationship management



Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 7+ years of relevant treasury management and accounting experience
  • Treasury Workstation and ReconNet experience strongly desired
  • Significant and strong leadership and management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint



Desired Skills:

  • Reconciliation and Project Management skills
  • Banking and/or financial services experience
