Primary Purpose:

Support accuracy and functionality of system development across the organization by coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) and post production validation of development projects and releases. User Acceptance Testing Coordinators will plan, monitor, and control testing activities and tasks. This position will also be responsible for facilitating regression testing and may assist business users with testing customizations. Works closely with Operations, Application Development, and IT QA to ensure development and testing efforts are completed and meet all outlined requirements in the implemented solution. The User Acceptance Testing Coordinator will also work with the project team to ensure the test environment is put into place before test execution, and managed during test execution. This position will schedule tests for execution, then monitor, measure, control, and report on the test progress, the product quality status, and the test results. They will also coordinate issues resolution and make recommendations for quality assurance process improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates user acceptance testing initiatives by communicating across multiple lines of business, organizing meetings and supporting training efforts to ensure effectiveness of UAT initiatives
  • Facilitates UAT process by reviewing project requirement documents, assessing business impacts of systems development, coordinating testing teams and developing and reviewing test scripts to ensure users conduct thorough and careful testing
  • Advises key stakeholders by communicating knowledge of application functionality and development processes to improve user acceptance testing and assist managers in meeting business goals
  • Contributes to development of test plan library by analyzing business needs and developing test plans to create a framework for current and future testing, increased efficiency, and avoids duplication of work
  • Develops comprehensive test plans
  • Attend business requirements review sessions
  • Facilitates UAT test plan review, testing, and post production validation meetings
  • Partners with IT Teams to ensure testing environments are set up, testing data is loaded, and defect resolution is completed promptly before, during, and after go live dates
  • Coordinates UAT and obtains stakeholder approvals
  • Coordinates post production validation to ensure validation of all business processes are completed, defects are resolved, and change requests are successfully implemented

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 0-3+ years relevant experience within National General Lender Services systems and processes
  • Process oriented business experience
  • Knowledge of principles and methodology behind user acceptance testing
  • Terminology, function and fundamental capabilities of common computer, software, information and communication technology devices, components, and concepts
  • Policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the business and organization
  • Implement planning to prioritize, organize, measure work

  • 0-3+ years of experience in Insurance and/or Mortgage servicing industry
  • Working knowledge of NGLS systems and Black Knight MSP
