Job Description

Primary Purpose:
Provide operational day-to-day support to the CVRD Team. Ownership of on boarding process including set up and maintenance of agent systems.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
•    Ensure successful transition of agent from recruiting process to being fully on-boarded
•    Set up new agents in systems that are necessary
•    Answer general support questions from agents
•    Work directly with candidates and team leaders
•    Update content in agent resource library
•    Schedule meetings for agents with team leaders and trainers
•    Update CVRD social media
•    Liaison between agents and carriers
•    Identify opportunities for improving agent experience and scheduling efficiency


Minimum Skills and Competencies:

•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
•    1+ year of business experience preferably in an office administrative function
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
•    Demonstrated organizational skills, high standard of accuracy, attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills 
•    Strong time management
•    Strong customer service focus and responsiveness 
•    Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment 
•    Comfortable with high volume workload and ability to manage multiple priorities


Desired Skills:
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field
•    Previous experience working in a life and health insurance for a large national company
