Job Description

Primary Purpose:

This position is responsible for operating as a HR Business Partner, leading both strategic and tactical Human Resources initiatives, which will require executing on the day-to-day HR tasks alongside the team. The HR Manager will partner with employees across all levels of the organization to provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, including but not limited to coaching, counseling and career development. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Partner with management to provide guidance on employee relations issues
  • Effectively partner with leaders to understand the business strategy and provide appropriate HR support
  • Assist managers with plans to drive change in their respective departments/groups, including organizational design, reorganization, talent management, compensation planning, etc.
  • Partner with leaders to ensure compliance and consistency with HR processes across the organization
  • Partner with Regional HR Leader to provide business updates, recommendations and consultation on business matters and strategy
  • Facilitate HR Training as necessary
  • Partner closely with and lead other HR Business Partners
  • Participate on and lead Project Teams

     

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience to include leadership
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Must be professional and customer focused
  • Ability to manage confidentiality at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships with individuals at various levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel to assigned support locations quarterly or as needed
     

Desired Skills:

  • S/PHR or SHRM – S/CP certification
  • Experience using the Workday HRIS application
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments
