Primary Purpose:

Support team leadership in guiding the delivery of accurate and efficient lender services by assisting with management of department operations, processing multiple loan-related workflows, updating policy information and advising and mentoring team members to contribute to achievement of service level expectations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process insurance-related documentation across multiple workflows by analyzing complex data and utilizing internal tracking system to update policies at loan level and ensure loan information is accurate and current
  • Ensure policy information is accurate and complete by reviewing documentation, identifying inconsistencies and missing data and contacting carriers and agencies to clarify issues, gather policy information and support effective insurance servicing processes
  • Inform and communicate with lenders by answering inbound service calls and conducting in-depth research within loan database to extract and analyze information and provide comprehensive, timely responses to complex inquiries and requests
  • Mentor junior team members by resolving questions, assisting with training of new associates and providing advice and guidance on insurance servicing processes and procedures to contribute to achievement of service level agreements
  • Support compliance of insurance servicing operations by guiding peers on organizational policies and data entry best practices, resolving escalated issues and ensuring data integrity in loan tracking applications to minimize risk and uphold internal standards
  • Assist with department initiatives by participating in assigned projects and assuming supervisory duties as required to support delivery of effective services and ensure team alignment with business goals
  • Provide subject matter expertise by utilizing comprehensive knowledge of processes, queues and client-specific procedures to support multiple workflows and resolve complex, escalated processing issues

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 4 years relevant experience
  • Experience in a high-volume processing environment; increasing levels of responsibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of leadership principles and best practices
  • Applied knowledge of common computer, software, information and communication technology devices, components and concepts
  • Advanced knowledge of data entry processes and procedures
  • Understanding of policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the business and organization
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly 
  • Represent the organization to customers and other external sources by phone or e-mail
  • Utilize effective research techniques to investigate complex inquiries
  • Quickly and accurately perform data entry; keep logs, records, and files up-to-date and readily accessible
