Primary Purpose:

Responsible to lead the strategic delivery of organized, valid data for key stakeholders by identifying and implementing innovative data and reporting tools, overseeing team development of reports and collaborating with Information Technology (IT) and the lines of business (LOB) to ensure team provides quality data and reporting services. Additional responsibilities include playing a key role in meeting companywide profitability and customer/client satisfaction goals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the timely delivery of data by delegating and prioritizing key stakeholder requests, guiding team on identification of correct matrixes/datasets and reviewing reports to ensure accuracy and validity of information for key stakeholder objectives
  • Manage risk by establishing, communicating and monitoring key performance indicators to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, mitigate impacts of unplanned changes, and provide stake holders with visibility into SLA adherence
  • Drive the delivery of reliable data by developing strategic testing and report building guidelines, troubleshooting escalated issues and resolving complex problems with IT to clarify information and ensure team produces quality reports for key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with IT by gathering information on system changes and data availability and recommending processes for advancing data delivery strategy to share updates with team and promote streamlined data and reporting operations
  • Foster strong partnerships across the business by communicating with key stakeholders to share expertise on data delivery best practices, solicit feedback on team performance and identify strategies for continuously improving data reporting for business objectives
  • Drive the implementation of innovative data and reporting tools by monitoring company trends and best practices, leading data testing and formatting initiatives and providing subject matter expertise to train team on appropriate new tools for specialized data projects
  • Drive strategic value based decisions through defined and validated cost models
  • Manage a performance enhancement culture by actively coaching and mentoring direct reports, providing regular feedback and developing employees for wider roles and responsibilities to foster professional growth and development
  • Update key stakeholders on department production and performance by communicating with clients and managers as appropriate to regularly share pertinent information
  • Supervise daily operations of team by coordinating and communicating employee tasks, scheduling shifts, encouraging collaboration with other departments, measuring performance and providing feedback to achieve high productivity and meet service level expectations
  • Provide a positive environment by modeling cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value “can do” people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Customer service or Managerial experience, increasing levels of responsibility
  • Principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, de-escalation of conflict, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Principles and methodology involved in performance management, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources
  • Terminology, function and fundamental capabilities of common computer software
  • Advanced working knowledge of systems of record and processes and procedures utilized in area of responsibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Motivate, develop, and direct people as the work; share knowledge with others and provide effective performance feedback
  • Ability to organize people, tasks and activities to yield effective performance feedback
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Utilize established procedures to guide decision making
  • Ability to manage expenditures to a budget
