Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Manage small projects from initiation to completion, wearing many hats as they relate to the project lifecycle including, project management, requirements analysis, and testing. Responsible for documenting requirements, creating milestone schedules, coming up with accurate manpower estimates and preparing standard project management documentation to assist the Sr. Project Manager.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize meetings
  • Arrange for meetings between team members, and between team members and clients
  • Record minutes at meetings
  • Keep detailed project notes and records
  • Develop project strategies
  • Create project schedules
  • Create task lists for team members
  • Monitor project progress, budget, hours, etc.
  • Track and manage incoming paperwork
  • Keep all members of the team up-to-date with current information and paperwork
  • Communicate with team members to ensure optimal strategy and maximum efficiency

 

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1+ years’ experience with project management, business analysis, and or/process improvement that demonstrates organization and critical thinking capabilities
  • General knowledge/familiarity with Health Insurance
  • Familiar working in a call center environment
  • Ability to plan, organize, control small projects
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and contribute to process improvement projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must work well as both a team player as well as an individual contributor with little supervision
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities
