Primary Purpose:

Provide operational day-to-day recruiting support to the Talent Acquisition Team.  Basic knowledge and ownership of pre-hire onboarding process including compliance required background check(s) for one or more business units.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Work directly with candidates and hiring managers to provide new employee onboarding with outstanding customer service focus
  • Perform pre-employment screens through online vendors
  • Basic knowledge of background check adjudication, adverse action, and associated employment policies and procedures
  • Handle sensitive and confidential candidate and employee information
  • Complete interview scheduling requests with high accuracy and timeliness
  • Complete job posting activities for positions in line with recruiting strategy and Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email
  • Arrange travel and lodging, and processing reimbursement reports to ensure a seamless candidate experience
  • Participates in projects related to recruiting process & technology, onboarding
  • Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed


Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1+ year of overall experience in administrative, customer service or related fields
  • Excellent PC Skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint 
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, high standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills 
  • Strong time management, and organizational skills 
  • Strong customer service focus and responsiveness 
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment 
  • Comfortable with high volume workload and able to manage multiple priorities


Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred
  • Previous experience working in a talent acquisition function at a complex organization
