Primary Purpose:

This role will partner with Senior Director, Retail Stores to manage real estate efforts for both the store and kiosk channels. This will include identifying new locations/relocations, negotiating and executing leases including subleases, and fostering landlord relationships. In addition, the role will also be responsible for managing the operational side of the kiosks when it comes to servicing, downtime, and vendor related issues.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and contribute to the analysis of current and future markets in which Sales offices are or will be placed based upon various metrics and real estate factors
  • Utilize various tools, resources and metrics, including real estate brokers, demographic mapping, census data, traffic counts, and web based real estate resources in order to assess current and future portfolio footprints and store presence
  • Upon site approval, conduct negotiations with landlords, property managers and leasing agents to achieve lease terms that meet company economic terms and parameters
  • Work with Landlords and company Legal department to prepare letters of intent, lease agreements and other documents as may be required to consummate the real estate deal
  • Build and foster positive working relationships with Landlords and Property managers
  • Abstract new leases/licenses and update lease/license related information in the Lease Database
  • Work directly with Kiosks vendors on servicing, downtime, and other related operational issues
  • Travel as approved and needed to targeted areas and sites to find and assess identified locations
  • Assist Vice President, Retail Stores with related duties and projects as may be required


Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 2+ years of experience with negotiating and leasing in a commercial or corporate real estate environment.
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Working knowledge of real estate lease law and practice
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
