Primary Purpose:

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Corporate Recruiters and ensure achievement of successful full-cycle recruiting for non-exempt and exempt level positions. The position will collaborate with the Director, Talent Acquisition and business unit leaders to develop and execute specific recruitment strategies.  Manager will also be expected to maintain a limited requisition load and directly perform full-cycle recruitment on a limited number of positions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage, train, and lead a team of Corporate Recruiters and adhere to established department KPI’s
  • Working manager with ownership of full-cycle recruiting for requisitions aligned to assigned business unit(s)
  • Work with business leaders on workforce requirements, staffing forecasts, position requirements, candidate availability and job descriptions for technical/analytical, management, and executive roles
  • Develop creative sourcing plans to include traditional, networking and web based strategies
  • Review, screen, interview, and recommend top talent for a wide-variety of positions primarily including management and highly technical/analytical positions
  • Stay current on recruitment trends and practices in the market place
  • Ensure that direct reports maintain accordance with documented processes including OFCCP compliance requirements
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify qualified candidates for critical leadership positions
  • Interact with leadership throughout the organization to understand quality of recruitment process and quality of candidates/hires
  • Ability to coach and develop others

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 6+ years of experience in recruiting both non-exempt and exempt level positions
  • Experience with multiple recruiting software platforms such as: Taleo, MyStaffingPro, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed, ICIMS, Workday
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
  • Skilled in establishing productive and effective working relationships
  • Highly skilled in critical thinking, flexibility, and negotiations. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and high-caliber consultative skills
  • Strong leadership, conflict resolution and team building skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in protection and dissemination of company confidential and proprietary information
  • Must have experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access)
  • Expert knowledge of employment law and corporate recruitment practices
  • In-depth experience in competency-based interview and assessment techniques
  • Travel to other facilities and/or locations

Desired Skills:

  • Insurance and/or financial services recruiting experience highly
  • Experience in a government contracting environment
  • Prior experience working with AAP/OFCCP reporting
  • 3+ year of experience managing a team of talent acquisition professionals (Sourcers, Coordinators, Recruiters, etc.)
