Primary Purpose:

Responsible for the overall management and operations of the virtual agency site. The Virtual Site Leader will lead their virtual agents for the efficient operation and profitability of the company to insure quality customer service, regulatory compliance, divisional growth, and 1099 agent engagement and partner relationships.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales leaders and ensure they are planning, assigning, and driving sales production within their areas of responsibility
  • Responsible for driving sales results, retention, client service and proper underwriting for their specific location
  • Actively promote company’s position and image by fostering and maintaining positive communication
  • Identify training needs, work with Training Team and all of Leadership to maximize performance
  • Responsible for calling and connecting with a high volume of virtual agents each day
  • Responsible for driving sales within dormant & inactive virtual agents
  • Responsible for generating year-over-year growth within assigned agents
  • Responsible for generating same day quotes
  • Will become familiar and drive sales within multiple product lines including: short term medical, critical illness, accident fixed-benefit, and various others
  • Understand basic underwriting and compliance of products and ensure all protocol is followed
  • Assists and/or direct special projects or requests.




Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 3-7 years of Property and Casualty insurance industry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to develop and manage project/product related reporting and metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop a plan to resolve issues and drive change within the team
  • Resourceful, hard-working, results driven, energetic, entrepreneurial and ability to lead by example
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
  • Must be able and willing to travel 50 % of the time




Desired Skills:

  • Clear understanding of NatGen affinities.
  • Strong systems knowledge of Quomation, AgentCubed, NPS and underwriting knowledge of all carriers appointed by NatGen
  • Prior sales experience preferred
