Job Description

The Senior Enterprise Content Administrator will work as a part of a team who are responsible for administering, supporting, document conversions and migrations and monitoring of the content management system. This includes day-to-day administration, performance tuning, and maintenance supporting all systems required for the content management environment to be functional. The Enterprise Content Administrator will also be responsible for reviewing maintenance plans, ensuring backups are being successfully performed, respond to failures, write and test disaster recovery plans, and assist in design of application interfaces to the document repository.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure system availability, recovery
  • Provide daily management of content management system infrastructure and assure service availability
  • Maintain all environments including Development, QA, and Production environments
  • Work with business users, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure quality products
  • Responsible for documenting all maintenance procedures
  • Maintain policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Keep the content management software up to date with necessary patches
  • Perform release management activities
  • Perform server migration/upgrade activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 4+ years content management experience
  • Thorough understanding of content management systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving integrity and performance issues
  • Experience with performance tuning a content management environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in OpenText Content Server, Archive Server, OCC/IC, OTDS, Brava and Infoarchive
  • Experience administrating IIS, Tomcat, Apache, or other web hosting platforms
  • Expert experience in implementing operational automation

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $104,000.00 - 159,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
