Job Description
Under general direction, the Associate II processes company financial data and transactions from multiple business areas within Allstate to ensure compliant and accurate processing. In addition, the position provides accounting support and expertise to internal and external customers and business partners for manual and automated financial transactions and policy updates.• Works effectively with vendor partners both onshore and offshore
• Prioritizes workflow according to SLAs. Meets the established standards for processes
• Demonstrates understanding of business platforms, processes, and SOX environment (SME)
• Receives and responds to written and verbal communication with internal and external business partners
• Researches, investigates, and resolves common exceptions, variances, or posting errors
• Enters financial data into various accounting systems
• Processes various payment types including automated and/or manual electronic payment requests according to system and customer requirements
• Assists in month-end reporting procedures and financial close process
• Balances moderately complex general ledger accounts including analyzing and investigating variances under general supervision.
• High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
• 0-2 years experience (Preferred)
• This job does not have supervisory duties.
• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $17.50 - 22.91 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
