Job Description

Primary Purpose:

The Insurance Vertical Senior Manager will focus on growing Transparent.ly’s Insurance verticals by running various analyses to identify opportunities. Transparent.ly is a real-time click bidding platform that allows advertisers to precisely bid for consumers with our ad technology.  Working with the sales team, the Insurance Vertical Senior Manager will bring on advertisers and work with the publisher and paid media teams to increase access to consumers. This role is responsible for managing the business performance targets, data management.

financial projections, and improving the performance of our ads and sites.

  • Increase revenue and profitability of the Transparent.ly insurance verticals
  • Develop strong and productive professional relationships, both internally and externally
  • Identify, define and size opportunities to grow the business
  • Manage major project initiatives to completion while working with cross-functional teams
  • Possess the ability to use data to solve problems and spot opportunities
  • Exercise leadership in driving growth, focusing the team and getting important projects done on time
  • Develop and deliver performance reporting to maintain focus on revenue driving priorities and keep executive team updated on progress
  • Communicate clearly and succinctly to management and clients

  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • 1+ years of analytical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Successful experience managing others and in managing projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think fast, evaluate quickly, make decisions and take action promptly
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines

Desired Skills:

  • High GPA in quantitative courses
  • Experience in online insurance marketing and/or lead generation
  • Sufficient knowledge of web technologies to scope, manage, and work effectively with developers
