Position/Title: Senior Data Analyst - Corporate Analytics

** Note: Ideal candidate will have 7+ years in data analytics and have worked in any of the following tools: Power BI, Tableau, Python, SAS, R, SQL, SSRS, etc.

Location: Looking to hire within 4 hours of Orlando, FL or Cleveland, OH.

** Note: Will work remote from these states, but will need to come into the office occasionally for various meetings in the future.

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for the development of analytics and business insights spanning direct-to-consumer operations, including Service, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Pricing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with key business stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement analytics solutions to satisfy key business information needs.
  • Develop strategies for consistent analysis and testing to support decision-making.
  • Advocate for the effective use of data and drive a culture of data-informed decision making across the company.
  • Provide mentorship and ongoing development to less experienced analysts.
  • Able to translate data into actionable insights
  • Support business decisions through ad hoc analysis
  • Use statistical techniques to cut through the noise and identify the root causes of effects observed in data
  • Exhibit extraordinary passion to solve problems
  • Educate and enable business leaders to leverage analytics techniques to accomplish business objectives.
  • Work with business intelligence and data warehouse teams to ensure data quality and enhance data governance.

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • 7+ years of experience in analytics
  • Solid mathematical or statistics background
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), serving as an Excel power user
  • Expert in SQL, preferably SQL Server
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, SAS or R
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau
  • Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable and profitable opportunities
  • Superb communication skills and results-driven mentality
  • Proven ability to innovate, lead projects and develop strategies in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly 
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
