Primary Purpose:

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue and creating relationships for Transparent.ly. Transparent.ly is a real-time click bidding platform that allows advertisers to precisely bid for consumers with our ad technology. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of digital advertising concepts, knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem and has established senior-level connections to relevant advertisers. This role is also responsible for working with the CRO, Account Managers, Analysts, and Business Development – Supply Partnerships to accomplish sales goals. The Senior Sales Manager – Demand Partnerships will work across Transparent.ly product segments (i.e. clicks, calls and leads) within multiple verticals to create and execute both short and long-term sales strategies.

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Transparent.ly, its products and strategy
  • Create and execute a short and long-term sales strategy
  • Begin and advance sales discussions with target prospects on Transparent.ly’s products
  • Represent Transparent.ly at industry conferences and events
  • Identify and leverage subject matter experts within Transparent.ly for sales discussions
  • Maintain consistent communication with cross functional teams and leadership
  • Develop sales materials

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • 7+ years of demonstrated sourcing, developing and closing revenue experience
  • Bachelor Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion
  • Works independently with little supervision
  • Extensive media industry experience with a strong sales background
  • Proven track record for obtaining sales results
  • A deep understanding of all sales related functions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
  • Demonstrates a general understanding of all aspects of the sales process and drivers (projections, goals, targets, shop, buy, cross-sell, retain, profitability, compliance, quality, etc.)
  • Must possess strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and learn quickly
