Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Assist in facilitating day to day interactions with offshore 3rd party vendors and US based operational areas. Focus on maintaining established KPIs and resolving real time issues associated with day to day production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate change within the 3rd party vendors or onshore business units based on identified areas of opportunity
  • Participate in Monthly Business Reviews and ensure appropriate discussion occurs regarding monthly performance and opportunities
  • Coordinate appropriate Corrective And Preventative Action (CAPA) plans with 3rd party vendors when strategic KPI’s are not met
  • Manage 3rd party vendor access requests ensuring timely completion of all requests and ensuring all requests meet InfoSec guidelines
  • Create Ad-hoc reporting and analysis to identify and remediate problematic areas including: Forecasting, Staffing, Quality, etc
  • Handle Ad-hoc requests regarding 3rd party vendors and day to day processing

  • Bachelor’s Degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Knowledge of Insurance operations with practical experience in key operational areas
  • Must be able and willing to travel 25+ % of the time, including international trips
  • Ability to lead discussions build rapport, and with varying levels of the organization

Desired Skills:

  • Prior Vendor Management experience
  • Prior interactions with offshore teams or onshore vendors
  • Committed to personal and team excellence, willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Able to thrive in the “gray” and a culture that is collaborative, service-oriented, and consultative
  • Ability to multi-task – with a # of projects working concurrently
  • Ability to function independently
