Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for onboarding new virtual agent and serving as the primary point of contact between the virtual agent and our company to maximize sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • Responsible for calling and connecting with a high volume of virtual agents each day
  • Responsible for driving sales within dormant & inactive virtual agents
  • Responsible for generating year-over-year growth within assigned agents
  • Responsible for generating same day quotes
  • Will become familiar and drive sales within multiple product lines including: short term medical, critical illness, accident fixed-benefit, and various others

  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • 2+ years of inside sales experience
  • Post-secondary education (college or university)
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Organized, self-disciplined and professional in demeanor
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision managing multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced office
  • Must have a high level of commitment to personally get things done and take personal responsibility for achieving expected results
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade and influence behavior through proper planning and execution of telephone sales calls
  • Must be able to utilize creative problem solving skills to effectively resolve customer issues
  • Ability to learn and transfer knowledge to others over the phone and using web-based training
  • Successful sales or customer service experience in the property & casualty insurance industry
